PGA2505: Can I use a single-rail design +5/0V rather than dual rail +5/-5?

Hello,

I'm looking at the power supply design for my board and considering whether the PGA2505 really needs a split rail or whether it can be run from a single +5 supply?

Hi Dan,

The PGA2505 requires booth +5V and -5V power supplies. See front page of PGA2505 datasheet.

Note that the VD- pin must also be connected to -5V supply.

Hi Zach,

Thanks for the clear answer, I should have me mentioned I did read the data sheet, and was wondering if it was possible anyway. But maybe it simply is not.
