TPA3255: Selecting a suitable DAC for the TPA3255, with respect to best possible output quality

Part Number: TPA3255
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM5242, TPA3251

Tool/software:

Hello TI,

I am designing an amplifier using TPA3255 and as the AMP will have digital inputs, I am now seeking a suitable differential DAC for such application.

I want to get the best possible results while omitting the need to use many costly OP-AMPs etc.

I was mainly looking into the PCM17xx and PCM52xx product lines. As I am very concerned about the output quality ( I will be employing PFFB and using proper output LC filter components ) I am more inclined to use the PCM17xx. I am not entirely sure, what sort of OPAMPs and in what configuration would be optimal for connecting the differential signal of the DAC to the AMP.

Is there maybe some sort of reference design for connecting a differential DAC to TPA3255, could be anything, just something for me to get started with.

Your tips will be highly appreciated.

Thank you
