I am using the simulation model for OPA1688ID rev E, when I put it in voltage follower configuration I get clipping at 3V with a 5V supply, is this supposed to happen?

Hello,
I suspect you are running into the common mode voltage limitation which is 2V below the positive supply. Below you can see the linear input common mode range and it enters the non linear range at 3V on a 5V supply


Running the simulation with a common mode voltage of 2.5V I purposely violated the common mode range shown below to replicate the issue.

The max input AC signal I can add to the 2.5V DC potential is 500mV. See below.
