Pin 1 has a tolerance applied but no dimension locating it. So I want to verify my assumption that the location is meant to be .335 from datum plane A.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your patience. We will get back to you by tomorrow.
Hi Paul,
Pin 1 is on the front row of pins. From the datasheet, this row is .169+.2 = .369 in from the back of the device.

Thanks but I am looking for the location of pin 1 relative to datum A, given as the mid-plane of the tab width, not from the back (datum C)
.670 / 2 = .335 ?
Hi Paul,
Yes, this is correct. You can get to the same number by starting at the middle pin and adding the pin separation (5*0.067=0.335)

Thank you. That does answer my question. I should ask as well whether the .150 hole is meant to be centered (coincident with datum A). There is no dimension locating it horizontally, and no part centerline from which to infer its location.
For example in a similar drawing (NDA0011B, below) from the same data sheet, there is a centerline, highlighted yellow, locating the pins and hole.
