Tool/software:

I am planning an 8 channel board design using four TAS5825M chips on a common I2C bus, each set to a unique address. The working plan is to use PPC to arrive at unique .cfg profiles, including EQ, etc. and store those on computer drive. A web browser interface running on the micro-controller will allow the configuration engineer to select a unique .cfg for each of the 4 chips. These will then get transferred to on-board flash. Upon power up, the micro-controller will read its flash and load the .cfg data into each of the four TAS5825M chips.

Do you see any issues with this approach?

Hi James,

If my understanding of you selecting which .cfg to use then initializing the TAS5825M with the selected file is what you are describing, then this will work fine. Once the TAS5825M is powered on and has I2S clocks, you can configure them however you want.

Hi Ramsey,

I just received the access email to the TAS5825-SW for PurePath. However, PurePath V3.2.1 doesn't recognize it as an available module. What should I do?
