Dear Sir,
I am testing the TPA3123d2. It seems that I cannot connect many(e.g. four) 8 ohm speakers at the BTL output of TPA3123d2, why?
Thanks.
Regards,
Eddie

Eddie,
Do you mean paralleling the speakers? If so, this is a little tough because the low-impedance will trip our short-circuit protection.

Hi, Eddie,
No, it can't do that. In fact, in BTL mode, the minimum load resistance is somewhere around 8 ohms. You could use something like TPA3100D2 and run two speakers in parallel on one output, and the other two on the other output.
You could also look at the TAS5414A which can drive down to 2-ohms, AND it has 4-channels, so you wouldn't need to parallel them.
