TAS6511-Q1: How to use current sensing to verify if AMP works as expected

In you AMP product, there is real-time current sensing result from the AMP to provide possibility to verify if AMP works as expected from SoC side, then how to use this current sensing result, for example, do we need to calculate CRC for it or bit comparison? and if this was done by SW, how much resource is need for this current sensing check( memory, CPU), assumed that 48KHz, 8bit audio data need to be checked.

can you also share the example from TI regarding how to check current sensing result.

The calculation is quite simple.

Highest bit is the sign bit.

The rest of the bit, full scale is 6.5A. For example, most of the time, will use slot size as 32bit, so every bit resolution would be 6.5A / 2^31.

Thanks for the quick response, I understand that to calculate the current sensing bit is simple, here I would like to know how to verify these current sensing results? once we received the current sensing,which method is the recommended from TI?

can we use CRC for the current sensing verification?
