PCM2902C: ESD problems

Tool/software:

ESD is causing PCM2902C audio codec to restart. Are there any suggestions on areas of weakness with this IC that I can investigate?

Hi Greg,

It's fairly normal for a device to restart after experiencing an ESD event. The protection diodes in the device prevent damage, but this can result in a momentary disruption. External ESD protection might help mitigate this. I would focus on the lines coming from USB (D+,D-,VBUS).
