TPA6132A2: What should the input signal for the TPA6132 be?

Dear Ti experts,

I am currently converting the PWM signal from a Class-D headphone amplifier into an analog signal through an LPF and then input it to the TPA6132.

According to the TPA6132 datasheet, the input signal needs to meet the requirement of Vpkpk being less than 2.2V, which I can achieve by adjusting the volume. However, I would like to know if there are any other requirements for the input signal, such as frequency, etc.?

    Hi Ronghui,

    The input signal to TPA6132A2 should be within the audio frequency range ie. 20Hz to 20kHz. The lower limit bandwidth limit is actually given by the input AC coupling cap as described in data sheet section 8.2.1.2.1.
