TPA6132A2: Tina Simulation Problems of TPA6132 Application in GLB Circuit

Part Number: TPA6132A2

Tool/software:

Hi,The following schematic is a simulation schematic of TPA6132 applied in GLB circuit. The SGND is connected to the ground of the headphone (represented by a single channel 16 ohm impedance in the figure) jack, and then connected to the PGND through an Rgbk resistor (5 ohm). However, this simulation seems to be unable to run, and the oscilloscope in the figure has been stuck; When I am not simulating the GLB circuit (without using an Rgbk resistor, SGND and PGND are directly connected), it can be simulated normally. What is the problem?

  • Hi Yangyang,

Most likely the model expects a direct connection between PGND and SGND signals.
If you need to evaluate the impact of ground loop on the headphone jack, you may have to use the EVM, remove the OUT from the board and make the connections out of the board to create the ground loop.
