Hi team,

I would like to route the output of EAR2 to MIC1P,N and output on PCMOUT.
However, due to the rule of input full scale voltage, I cannot use the output of EAR2 as it is, so I will input the output of EAR2 with -20dB externally.
After that, it is assumed that 29.5dB amplification is performed in the TLV320AIC1110 and PCMOUT is output.
In this case, does this mean that the audio output is 8.95dB higher than the original data?

Hi Yamashita-san,

I understand and agree that you need to attenuate the signal to loop back to MIC1PN but can you help point me to where you are getting the 29.5dB number?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the reply.
It is the value when MICAmp1 (23.5dB) and MICAmp2 (6dB) are added together.

Hi Yamashita-san,

Understood. Then yes your understanding is correct, the full gain loop would be ~9dB from the original EAR output (in digital domain).
