TAS6584-Q1: I2C address changes after SW RESET

Part Number: TAS6584-Q1

Tool/software:

Dear Colleagues,

In our amplifier product, we use a TAS6584 powerstage.

Recently we received three customer claims, and we noticed that the 6584 powerstage was not working properly due to loss of I2C communication.

And we further noticed that the loss of I2C communication happened right after a chip SW RESET(with Mode CTRL Register)

The I2C address is changed from 0xC2 to 0xC0.  And this behavior is sporadic.

In our schematic, we use a 1K pull-down register, so the address is supposed to be 0xC2.

I would like to know if this is a known issue to you and how to fix this issue.

Many thanks.

Best regards,

Hua Ma
