Hello,

We are using the AIC3254 for a full-duplex communication and we have an echo sometimes.

I've seen some forum where they use the AEC with the AIC3254 but I can't find it on PurePath.

How can I get access to it ?

Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately AEC has been deprecated from our device support. We encourage customers to host AEC algorithms on SoC or some other host and let the codec transmit and receive the processed audio. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for the information. Do you know if a newer DSP could be compatible with the footprint and pinout of the TLV320AIC3254 ?

Hi Andrew,

I don't know of any and I doubt any are compatible. The number of pins is quite large and it's very unusual to replace a codec with a DSP pin to pin.
