Hi,

  The customer needs to use 16 channels. Can we cascade 2pcs to achieve this?

    Hello,

    The BCK limit per datasheet is BCK(max)=1/40n==> 25MHz .  To use 16 channel of data ( and assuming 48KHs sampling rate and 24bit data) your BCK has to run as

    16x24x48K=18.432MHz which is within the spec.  So from outside of the device,  if you can manage to feed the data accordingly  to 2 PCM1690 that are in parallel , then you can get the 2 groups of 8 channels( or simply 16channels) of data.
