Hello,

I am using an external MIC and I send a digital I2S signal to the TLV320DAC32IRHBR DAC and get output on 3.5 mm Headphone Jack. The MIC is directly connected to the MCU and PCM to PDM conversion is happening at MCU.Please verify this schematic for the same.

Note:
R17to R21 - DNP
Only HPL COM is connected to the Headphone Sleeve
LDO_SELECT = High.

Hi,

The schematic looks good. The only thing I would change is that all the unused analog inputs (like LINEL or LINER) must be AC coupled with a 0.1uF to 0.47uF to analog ground (AVSS).

Hi,

PFA modified schematics.Also, I have one doubt, can i short HPLCOM and HPRCOM if I want stereo output on my 3.5mm Jack?

Hi Syed,

I see the resistors are DNP but they should be replaced with 0.1uF to 0.47uF caps as I mentioned above. Leaving the inputs floating even when unused is not good for noise performance.

You do short HPLCOM and HPRCOM for stereo headset. The short is connected at the sleeve of the jack connector.
