TAC5111: I2C addresses not documented

Hello,

I'm considering the TAC5111 for a new design however the datasheet is still 'Advance Information' and is missing details such as the I2C Bus addresses. The I2C address is programmable through the ADDR pin but this is not explained. I can't find stock of the part anywhere. Is more complete information available for this part ? Are parts available ?

Hello Daveon,

Thanks for that, I had seen it but couldn't assume that the addresses for the TAC5x12 parts are the same as the TAC5111. Are you able to answer the other questions that I asked ? There's no point designing this part in if complete documentation and parts aren't going to be available soon. The TAC5111 advance information datasheet is nearly three years old.

Hi David,

TAC5111 is a new IC and is expected to release to the market completely in Dec/Jan 2024

OK, thanks Daveon. I think that I'll have to fall back to the old TLV320AIC3120 part unless data and parts appear within the design period.
