TAS6424E-Q1: TAS6424E USE DATASHEET SPREAD SPECTRUM DEFAULT SETTING IC CAN'T WORK

Dear TI:

(1)As title, We want use datasheet setting to know spread spectrum who has meet function or not but IC use picture setting will be shutdowm and error flag high

Condition use:Lrck 48Khz Mclk 256Fs normal I2s mode

(2)Datasheet said 0x77 can wrirte, but ppc3 at register page is block can't change

    Simon,

    I see that the PPC3 GUI is offline as indicated in the lower left corner. 

    Use the SSM on the Control Page to change to turn SSM on or off.  I will take a look at PPC3 and see why the register is not open for change.

    Simon,

    You can use the I2C button at the bottom of the screen and send a command to turn it on.  The I2C Monitor and log open up.  Click on the I/O button at the top right. Insert the following into that window (copy and paste).  Click Execute at the bottom of the I2C Monitor Window.

    w d4 28 EA   #enable spread spectrum bits and phase bits
    w d4 77 82   #enable spread spectrum and set SSM frequency variation
    w d4 78 1F   #pre divider control
    w d4 79 3F   #step size

      

    Check to make sure the Bits are changed on the Register Map page.
