Tool/software:
Hi,
We are using the TAS2505 audio codec on one of our custom designs. The codec is connected to our main board using SAI and I2C. We use Linux 6.12 to control the audio interface.
We noticed that the first few seconds of the audio stream does not sound as expected. If we use speaker-test to play a rather short audio file multiple times in a loop, we noticed that the audio sounds distorted/different during the first loop. All other loops sound as expected. We also tested with other audio files. The distortion is much less noticeable on some other audio files (sine wave, voice recording).
Does someone know what could cause this issue? Does the codec add some filtering during the first few seconds automatically?
Kind regards,
Yoshi
