Tool/software:

I downloaded TAS2x20 v3.00.targ.gz and installed on PPC3 v 3.2.1. 
when I launch the TAS2x20 application with the TAS2120EVM + AC-MB DC058 Rev C,  I get this err message "Connected EVM is not valid for this app. Please connect a valid EVM" . 
I need to test the TAS2120 performance and be able to access the contents of the registers. 
What should I do? THANKS

Hi Hector,

This is a known issue that we have been working on to fix. This sometimes happens when you manually install the app using the tar.gz. The solution to this problem is to sign out and use the app. Please let us know if you still cannot enter into the app even after signing out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Nayeem, I've been using the app without sign in (using my TI account). If i try while signing in the App is gray out. I tried signing in - out and it did not resolved. Thanks

BTW, the TAS2120EVM is configured in HW mode ( as default) I tried connecting following the procedure below:

Hector,

What you just mentioned is exactly the issue. The solution is you will have to use the app as signed out ONLY. Do not sign back in. Use the app as "signed out". And looks like you are already using it that way.

For HW mode control you do not need PPC3. If you set the EVM properly, you should be able to playback the audio. If you are having any issue, please send us a photo of the EVM configuration and we can verify the jumper settings.

I was able to play usb audio in HW mode, but I need access to TAS2120 registers. SHould I configure the TAS2120 in software mode instead to use PPC3?

That is correct. Configure the EVM for SW mode if you need access to TAS2120 registers.

It looks like the I2C EEPROM on the EVM was corrupted. A code was provided to reconfigure the EEPROM. Thank you very much for your support
