Hi,

My customer is looking for Digital Audio Transmitter and Receiver Recommendation that interfaces using I2S that also gives us the VUCP bits. The DIX4192 does not have the capability to place the V.U,C,P bits back into the transmitter side, do we have any alternatives?

Hello Abigail,

We have only a few Transmitter and Receiver . DIX4192 and DIX9211(PCM9211) have more features than others. The PCM9211 can output decoded channel status data, user data, and a validity flag synchronized with audio data from the input S/PDIF signal.

Is the PCM9211 capable of placing the VUCP bits for transmitter and receiver? If not, are there independent transmitters/ receivers (not combined) which we could recommend with this capability?

As far as I know, it is capable for both Transmitter and Recieiver. We do not have any other part similar to PCM9211.
