TAS5822M: TAS5822M overheat protection

Part Number: TAS5822M

Tool/software:

Hi

After the TAS5822M overheat protection is activated for a short period of time, frequent activation of the overheat protection will cause the IC to shut down.
If the restart time exceeds 48 hours and the latter is allowed to stand for 48 hours before restarting, the probability of overheating protection occurring will be greatly reduced.
May I ask what the reason is?

  • hi

it is a little difficult to understand.

usually, the overheat will happen when chip arrive the OT threshold. chip behavior itself will not change.

is that possible any pseudo soldering exist on the pcb so that heatting changed the situation.

    tks
