Tool/software:
I am experiencing the same issue as this previous post. The EVAL board is not working with the software.
The PC is detecting the device
I have extracted the downloaded file SLAC366 into a C drive location, C:\ti\CodecControl
1) I am running the CodecControl.exe as Admin. This had no effect.
2) I have uninstalled the device.
I am unable to unistall the application as this just runs without an installer.
3) I am running Windows 11 and both D1&D2 are on solid. D1 will turn off when I partially remove the USB A to break the data connections.
My process from scratch is this.
1) Launch CodecControl as admin. I get a blank grey screen.
2) Plug the USB into my PC. I get a bing and the devices are visible in device manager again. CodecControl remains grey and blank.
At this point I was previously running a simulation because nothing was on the happening, but I realise now this is just a simulation...
Hi Phillip,
I tried this out on a handful of different PCs and consistently found what you're describing. The GUI does not seem to be compatible in its current state with Windows 11 but works fine with Windows 10. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll raise this with our software team to look into a fix.
Best regards,
Jeff McPherson
