PCM1774: In case of slave mode

My customer has a question that SCKI signal should needed if my customer use PCM1774 as slave mode.

    Hello Chase, 

    Datasheet doesn't mention explicitly  this part works with 3-wires I2S and furthermore, the  Figure 5-1.(  Slave Mode Configuration)-  and Figure A-7(Slave Mode Operation)  of user's guide indicates  the device  receiving the SCLK form the source along with BCK and LRCLK in Slave mode . The SCLK is needed for some of the modules inside the DAC such as  delta-sigma modulator and an interpolation filter that are running at higher speed. you can read more about it in System Clock Input section in data sheet.
