Class D amplifier

Hi,

I have performed some measurements on my class D amplifier using a sound level meter with C- weighting and I have notice that the amplifier is linear with gains higher than unity at different volume settings but when the gain is below unity, the gain rolls off at higher volumes. I don't understand why that would be, was wondering if anyone has experienced that?

Hi Yohan,

I can check this out, but I wanted to ask you a few questions. What Class-D amplifier are you using? What mode are you using the device in? Were the measurments taken on an EVM or a spun PCB? What are the supply voltages you are using? What values are you using for the output filter?

Hi,

Thank you for the response, after posting and performing additional measurements I realized there was an error in my component values in signal chain which ultimately nulled my findings. Thank you though.
