TAS6424-Q1: audio delay times entering/exiting standby and mute

Part Number: TAS6424-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi,

  1. what are the audio delay times from asserting/deasserting both mute and standby pins?
  2. are they constant on the entire temperature range?

On datasheet I've found only a 5ms ramp down delay when entering standby, but not the others.

Best regards,

Marco

  • Hi Marco

When Standby or Mute be set, the digital will ramp down the Volume, and the rate could be set in register 0x32. Temperature won't affect since it's digital control. But the time for audio totally disappear, will depending on how large of Volume you are Playing for now. Indeed several milli-second is needed. Usually would within 5ms.
