When setting the TAS5548 register and then turning it off, is the register erased?

Hello,

This device does not hold its register status when powered off. The device will have its default register configuration on power up and should be re initialized to the customers register settings.

So the TAS5548 doesn't store the register, and if it doesn't, what integrated circuit can I use so that it installs the register again when powered on?

Hello,

The easiest way would be to use whatever device you are using to send the initialization commands on startup. The device needs to be re-initialized every time it is powered on via I2C.
