TPA3255EVM: Overtemperature warning

Part Number: TPA3255EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3255

Tool/software:

Hi,

I'm testing the TPA3255EVM and it seems like overtemperature came very fast.

I'm using the PBTL configuration with Single Ended input, without resistances (as explained in the EVM datasheet, page 10).

At 25kHz input signal on INA, i can't reach more than 3.5Vpk-pk (no offset) without having the temp warning lights. It seems very far from the maximum input signal admited. Is it normal ?

The temperature mesured on the heater is around 50°C, very far from the 120°C.

On the TPA3255 datasheet, it is explained that the maximum input signal is 7 Vpk-pk.

Can u confirm that the maximum Vpk-pk input signal is 7 Pk-Pk ?

I've rechecked my jumper and my card is correctly connected.

Regards.
