Hi All
Working on a prototype TPA3255 amplifier.
I wanted to use a T106-2 core (2 for stereo) winding both coils for the BLT mode on one core.
the coils are wound tightly together, and connected opposite to each other.
I struggle to get it to work. It starts up op, but when I run a signal through, it stops working.
I accidentally mounted the 2 coils in same "direction" first, which of course does not work as they will then work as a shot at higher freq. This also meant it wouldn't start at all.
There is a slight difference in inductance for the 2 coils, 16 vs 18 uH, as I made a mistake one the board layout.
I have not seen any other amp using common core for the out out, so start to wonder if there is something in the chip protection which will make this very difficult to get to work.
I have done this configuration before on an anp based on a full bridge driven by a HIP4080. This worked quite well.
Thanks
