TAS6424-Q1: Is MCLK necessary for operation?

Dear TI experts,

My customer has EMC fail issue about their PCB using TAS6424-Q1.

They think that this issue would be cleared if they do not mse MCLK pin.

But if they dosconnect MCLK pin, TAS6424-Q1 cannot make any sound.

Is it right operation? or is there any way to make sounds if I do not use MCLK pin?

    Chase,

    MCLK is necessary for normal operation of amplifier.

    Two points need to be cared about MCLK EMC:

    1. MCLK/BCLK trace should be impedance controlled and not coupled to others

    2. VDD decoupling should be well done for TAS6424
