TAA3040: How to controll the channel gain while using the device

Hi experts,

TAA3040 datasheet says that "Configure the desired channel gain setting before powering up the ADC channel and do not change this setting while the ADC is powered on." Despite automatic gain controll (AGC) is available in this device, couldn't it be changed manually when powered up? If you want to change the channnel gain by controlling the PGA, is the device required to be once powered off and powered on again?

Hi Ayako-san,

As mentioned in the datasheet:

In order to change the PGA gain, the ADC needs to be powered down first by setting the ADC_PDz bit to 0. Once the gain change is done, the ADC can be powered up again by setting the ADC_PDz bit to 1.
