Hi team,

Is the PCM2706C capable of inputting and outputting I2S audio simply by connecting via USB Audio Class, without requiring any specific configuration?

    Hello,

    If you want I2S format out, the I2S path is selectable through FSEL pin 9. You can read about  configuring the DAC for I2S or SPDIF  in section 9.3.2.2 

     When the I 2S interface is required, FSEL must be low.  Table 2 lists the functionality of the FUNC0 through FUNC3 pins, based on the FSEL pin.
