Part Number: TPA3110D2

Hi expert,

My customer (Uni-trend) is testing TPA3110D2 and found an issue as below, please help to analyze. Thanks.

  • R&D uses TPA3110D2 to drive the speaker, but there is abnormal noise from speaker when powering on the TPA3110D2 (The speaker is passive). And the input signal of RINP and LINP is keep 0V.
  • Schematic:

  • Abnormal waveform of Output signal when powering on:

  • R&D made sure the 12V power rail is steady

  • Hey Ryker,

Thanks for bringing this question to us.

I see an issue with your schematic. Can the customer start by reducing that 2.2uF cap on the output to 1uF ? The 2.2uF cap allows for too much transient current to pass through and the smaller the cap value the better. Customer can go lower in cap value if they get the desired results on their output

    Please share their end equipment

    Regards,

    Ore.
