TAS5825MEVM: tas5825Mevm standalone mode

Part Number: TAS5825MEVM

Tool/software:

Is there are a way to use TAS5825MEVM by programming both A and B side in stand alone mode.  I have same configuration for A and B amps in PBTL mode.  I want EVM to load on power up.  is there are way to do it.  I noticed there is micorsd card slot on the purepath console board can this be used to load the config file.

  • Hello,

We do not have this feature implemented onto the EVMs, but we have a few options so you can load the configuration quicker. One option is to save the PPC3 configuration file so you can load the settings faster in PPC3 (you would not have to re do the settings each time in PPC3). Another option is to save a header file of the configuration with PPC3 and use with your host processor. Then you could connect the I2C lines to the EVM. You could also record the I2C transactions and use PPC3s I2C master to write this script.
