TAA3040: single end SNR

Hello,

Our customer has a question about single end mode SNR. Although the datasheet specify differential SNR in below, he needs to know single end SNR at AVDD=3.3V, fs=48kHz 0dB/12dB gain setting.

Could you please help our customer to know the single end SNR ?

Hi Imi-san,

The SNR will degrade by about 2dB compared to Differential Mode.

Thank you for your feedback. He understood single end degraded 2dB compared with differential.

Can you fill out SNR number shown in the table below.

・TA=25℃、AVDD=3.3V/fs=48kHz (Datasheet P6)

Hi Imi-san,

I filled out the table below on an EVM. Keep in mind that this is only a single device, so it can't be treated the same as a datasheet figure, but it should be a good benchmark for the customer.

You can see that the PGA gain adds the expected 6dB degradation once the noise of the PGA dominates over the noise of the ADC.
