Hi Ti team,
When using the TAS5822, customers have reported that the speakers are generating a lot of heat. Could you please provide guidance on how to adjust the TAS5822's registers?

Hello,
The customer needs to set the output power in accordance with their speakers rating. They may be overdriving their speaker. They can start by reducing the gain and or input signal.

Hello,
The power of the speaker is sufficient. May I ask if the DSP settings of TAS5822 will affect the speaker?Under normal temperature environment testing, when playing pink noise for 5 consecutive hours, the temperature of the tweeter magnet can rise to 97 degrees Celsius.
The attachment is a PPC3 file.

Hello,
The DSP settings will affect the output. Is this pink noise played to burn in the speaker? Is the pink noise played at full scale? This would certainly heat up the speaker. Typically burn in is done pink noise should be played at about 1/3 speaker rated power not full scale.
