TAS2563: Power check

Hi team,

For the TAS2563, we would like to double check with you that the TPS62177 is suitable or not to use with because it's 28V, 0.5A.

Please see below suggestion from power team on E2E and let us know what kind of power part or spec we should look for.

Hi Zoe,

TAS2563's main power, it is usually 5V of vbat (around 4.2V). but the current requires typically 4A.

TPS62177 can only output 0.5A, there is big gap so it is not suggested to use it.

Do you have the DC-DC suggestions or evaluated with the TAS2563/2781?

Hi Zoe,

this depends on your use case. and you can request help from power team.

in fact, TAS2563 usually use battery and connect to battery directly.

Hi Zoe,

as mentioned previously, the chip need typical 4A input for vbat and boost inductor. I don't have suggestions for the power chip.
