PCM2912A: audio clipping with parallel mic array

Hello Team

We required a far field (15ft) mic array. And since we were on a time crunch, we ended up with PCM2912A and parallel mics. We are noticing clipping and muffled audio. Can someone please help validate the design and provide some feedback.

    Hi Rajiv,

    The clipping is most likely due to having three microphones all connected at the same node, since they may all have a maximum voltage, then you may have three full-scale signals adding together. See if you can do a voltage divider at the output of each microphone, this may help.
