PCM2704C: Can it be USB host?

Dear team,

Can PCM2704C be USB host? We like to build the system playing audio from iPad and supply charging to iPad at the same time. I try not to use USB-PD data role swap, so I like to know if it can support it.

    Hello,

    PCM270x is the only USB DAC family of devices we have. It also generates a S/PDIF or I2S signals on top of the Digital to Analog conversion. Therefore it can convert the signals that is coming through USB to  ( i.e., the host) to other formats but the DAC itself can not be considered the  host.
