TLV320AIC3254: PurePathStudio can't open old files

Hi,

I'm looking for an old PurePath Studio Version: version 5.40 build 1 revision 12166.

I'm trying to open a old file with the new PPS-Home: 5.95.1.35815

Error message from PPS-Home:

I also tried with the PPS-Portable but I'am not able to start the program:

Exception message:  "Die Datei "C:\Users\VM_W11\My Documents\Texas Instruments Inc\PurePath Studio (Portable Audio) MiniDSP 5.95\ComponentCache\Ntons\Singletons.xml" konnte nicht gefunden werden."
at System.IO.FileNotFoundException at mscorlib "WinIOError" line 0.

How can I get an older PPS-Portable version for testing.
Host platform:W11-23h2

    Hi Ivan,

    I have reached out to our software team to see if they can find this older version. For now, do you see anything in the GUI when you open in the current version? Maybe we can port over your configuration to the newer 5.95 version of PPS.

    I could managed to open the file by moving the PPS(Portable)/ComponentCache to PPS(Home)/ComponentCache. But I still couldn manage to see the correct signal path. Actual I got these messages:

    Hi Ivan,

    Yes, it looks like we cannot find an older version of PPS on TI side as well. You can send me the files and I can try to open them. From these error messages and what is left in the GUI, we might be able to interpret what the connections should be. Do you also know what the code is supposed to do? Maybe we can recreate it from scratch in the new version of PPS. But please send the files over so I can take a look.

    Hi Mir,

    Many thanks for your offer.
    I could manage to open the file.
    Workaround: I just had to find out which module were used in my file, delete these modules in ../ComponentCache from the PPS-Home, extract modules from PPS-Portable.
