TAC5112EVM-K: Enabling the script without USB power up and without PPC real-time command

Hi,

In regards to Audio transmit functionality on EVM-K,

After executing script; I capable to inject stimulus and observe the response on external ASI Dout1 (of AC_MB) by using the USB connection and press active button.

Now, with the same script, I would like to monitor the response on external ASI Dout1 (of AC_MB) by using the 5V external power rather than USB. There is no mic bias. Seems like the execution of the same script is not stored in the IC, and rely on PPC real-time command

Kindly advise.

    Hi Nadhrah,

    The configuration of the device is not stored on the device. It must be programmed to the device on each start up. 

    You can remove USB power from the AC-MB by removing the USB power jumper near the USB jack. This disconnected the 5V supply. You can then provide the external 5V to the AC-MB to power the board. This should balance using external power while still providing USB to program the device.
