Hi Mochizuki-san,
Our DAC expert will respond when he returns to the office later this week.

Hello Garret,
Thank you for the reply.
We can find the specification on CODEC device datasheet of TLV320AIC3101 as below.
"DAC channel separation 0-dB full-scale input signal between left and right lineout 86 dB"
Can we expect that TLV320DAC3100 is family device then the performance should be same?

Hello Mochi,
If the device is from the same core, usually many specs are the same. However this is not really a universal rule as devices with different features might have differences in design and layout and thus it might effect some parameters.
Also many stand alone DACs might be identical to the DAC which is used in a similar ( same family) CODEC ( as it is a DAC+ADC in the same IC) . However since channel separation is not mentioned in datasheet of TLV320DAC3100, I can not give you a number for this specific device. but if you measure about 80 on 2 different boards, I would assume it is around that value.
I checked few PCM devices and some have high channel separations (>100dB) and some ( USB dacs) has it in 70dB . So if you need a specific number for channel separation , my recommendation is to look into similar devices that have this parameter tested and guaranteed in datasheet.
Let me know if you need any help with device selection.
