Hi,

We encountered an issue with the TAS5825M amplifier in PBTL mode:

When using an audio source with LRCK = 48 kHz and SCLK = 2.304 MHz, the TAS5825M produces no output (no PWM signal observed).
However, when switching to LRCK = 48 kHz and SCLK = 3.072 MHz, the device works normally.

Request:
Please help identify the root cause. Why does the TAS5825M fail to operate at SCLK=2.304MHz despite both configurations using LRCK=48kHz?

Hi Ken，

can you clarify your I2S settings on sclk=2.304Mhz? I believe this issue related to this.

usually it uses 32bit/48k/stereo and 3.072Mhz setting. please list your details. thanks.

Thanks for your information. Currently, the audio source we used only can support 24bit/48k/2.304Mhz, could you please advise if TAS5825 can support it? Thanks.

regarding 24bit, please refer to datasheet p53 world length. can you check what's the current setting?

Hi Wenbin,

The SCLK input clock is 2.304 MHz, and the LRCK is 48 kHz. Register 0x71 BIT2 consistently reads as 1, indicating a clock fault. Could you please advise if the TAS5825M does not support this clock configuration. thanks.

Hi Ken,

please find the description below, it shows that the chip will only support 32/64 ratio of bclk/lrclk

so you have to config to 3.072MHz even you are using 24bit.
