I cannot get the microphone to work. attached is the schematic. Speakers work fine, but i think something is incorrectly implemented on the TS3A226AEYFFR. Any thoughts?

Can we try probing some pins and seeing if maybe a signal isn't getting through or behaving properly?
I would start with the Enable pin and see if the transition works as expected on the insertion. In theory that 10k should pull down so we should see about 30mV when it's not connected and then when the jack gets connected I would expect for the tip to be isolated from the enable (pin 5/ pin switch) so we should then get back up to 3.3V. Let's make sure that's working first.
I would also just double check that the VDD pin is getting up to 3.3V as well and check connectivity on the ring2 and sleeve pins. I'm looking to see if it's a board level connection/soldering issue or a detection issue - either initial detection via the EN pin or if something is off with the RING2/Sleeve pins and the device can't detect the jack very well.
Nothing jumps out at me as obviously incorrect with the setup though. Seems you've use the same setup as the EVM down to the jack, so I'm not seeing why you're not seeing a signal.

The enable pin appears to function properly, i see a high transition, when the headset plug is inserted. A bit of new information...When I go into Windows and turn on the mic volume to 100% i can hear a faint voice in a microphone recorded app. This is leading me to to look into the value for C4. I got the value from the reference design but i am going to play with it.
VDD is at 3.3V, ring2 and sleeve go directly from jack to the switch, and i don't have any way to probe the BGA, but if manufactured correctly it looks correct. for reference, all 5 prototype boards have this behavior.

That's a good find; definitely gives us something to work off of! Is there a way to check the Vbias, if you haven't already? The mic path not being very loud or clear can be a sign of that mic bias not being bias'ed properly.
