Tool/software:
Hi all,
My customer is thinking of using this device.
I would like to check the shematic after the HPR terminal. Is there anyone in charge?
I would like to communicate by private message.

Hi Ryusuke-san,
I can check the schematic for you. I have sent you a connection request.

Jeff McPherson
Hi Jeff,
Sorry, I couldn't see your private message.
I have received my customer's consent, so I am sending the circuit diagram in this thread.
They use TLV320AIC3100 to make the following circuit and connection.
TLV320AIC3100_HPR terminal - following circuit - earphone jack connector (CN 18 in the figure) - speaker cable - speaker (consumer product)
Question 1
・Does the current circuit have any problem with the specifications of TLV320AIC3100?]
Question 2
・I would like to change the circuit as follows, but does it have any problem with the specifications?
Best Regards,
Ryusuke
Hi Ryusuke-san,
This connection looks supported. This is for a mono headset correct? Your changes make the schematic easier to read, though it is not totally necessary to duplicate the AC coupling cap and R divider on both connections. You could still have a single path and short the tip and ring connector at the jack, prior to the protection diodes.
Best regards,
Jeff McPherson
Hi Jeff,
The application is a product that sounds by connecting an audio cable to a speaker with a jack.
The first circuit sounds if it is a stereo cable, but it does not sound if it is a monaural cable.
Therefore, we are considering improving the second circuit.
Best Regards,
Ryusuke
