PCM5242: DAC for cluster application or driving 2 X 20W speaker (Having in built amplifier) of 4 Ohm at 15m distance

I need to driveRemote location speaker driving

2X20W speaker in truck from our cluster. Distance of speaker from our board is around 10 to 15 meter in commercial vehicle. Speaker has its own amplifier at remote location so power to be given to speaker by vehicle battery not from cluster board. Please suggest arranging to be made at our board. What kind of IC to be placed in our cluster board to drive that speaker. Please suggest correct solution. Attached is BD of our requirement. Please let me know if any additiona ic like line driver is required.

    Hello Manoj, PCM5242 is very popular DAC but it is not automotive grade (parts with -Q1 are for automotive applications)  . DACs such as PCM1789-Q1 or family of PCM510xA-Q1 are good  choices. TAD5xxx ( such as TAD5x12-Q1 is the newest line of DAC with excellant specsin general) . So based on the specs/price/supply options you need, you can pick any of them.

    To deal with 15 meter of cable , I would think you need an AC coupling and audio transformer (1:1) after the DAC. 

    TPA3118D2-Q1 is an Automotive, 30-W, 2-ch, 4.5- to 26-V supply  Class-D audio amplifier that takes analog input.
