’m attempting to write the value 0xE1 to the 0x18 register but am encountering a failure. I’ve referred to the application note and tried to understand the purpose of the 0x18 register, but I haven’t found any relevant information in the datasheet. Could you help clarify the purpose of the 0x18 register? Also, would it be acceptable to remove this 0x18 sequence from the initialization process? I've attached a picture for reference.
