TAD5242: Can this device output a DC signal?

Curious if yes, and how to achieve. We are using spare DAC channels to control DC voltages of internal DC/DC regulators. Thanks!

    Also, what are the internal operating mode differences between headphone out and line out modes on the TAD5242?

    Hello Cameron,

    The TAD5242 is a hardware control device  and does not have any external pin to control or bypass the internal filter, however  the software version of this device has a bit that can bypass the filter and thus DC can be outputted.

    headphone out and line out  have different drivers which are optimized  for  specific drive capability for different loads
