TAS5827: I want to control five TAS5827s from PPC3

We are planning to use five TAS5827s in a product we are developing.
However, when we use PurePathConsole3 to control the IC's Gain, EQ, DRC, etc., it only displays up to four target device addresses.
Is it possible to control more than five devices with PurePathConsole3?

Yes, that's correct.
I'm referring to the fact that the screen above only displays addresses for up to four devices.

Hello,

Understood. I'll work with our PPC3 team to update this to include all I2C addresses. For quick turn around now I recommend using the replace feature in notepad. You can do replace "w c0" with "w c6" for example. This should be updated in PPC3 in the next 1-2 weeks.

First of all, I'm looking forward to the release of the version with improved PPC3 with 6 addresses support.

Next, the screenshot above is an example of changing manually C0 to C8.
I also tried using the PPC3 I2C Monitor I/O console as shown above.

It seems to work well. However, it's complicated and time-consuming, so it would be best if there will be a revised version of PPC3.

It seems there are errors with the script going through. Is it working on your end?

Completely understand that this method is time consuming and inconvenient. I only shared this solution as it will take some time to update, test, and validate this PPC3 change so it is just a short term solution.

Hi Sydney-san

The screenshot in the previous comment shows the error messages, but that's a hardware problem on our side, so it's not a problem.
Manually sending commands from the I2C console works well as a temporary workaround.

Okay glad to hear the hardware issue is resolved.

When this update gets pushed to PPC3 you will be notified in the PPC3 application that your app has an available update.
