Hi

We need clarification on connecting Headset Jack with Audio codec (TWL6040) IC.

We need your guidance to connect Headset Jack(TRRS-universal jack) for Headset & Mic detection.

 In the Headset jack 6 pins are available for Headset_R, Headset_L, MIC, and Ground.

1. With this four pin how plugdetect happens on insertions & removal of plug..?

2. How to know HeadMic in the headset is present or not..?

In the audio codec IC TWL6040, Pin PLUGDET(Accessory plug detection pin) & ACCONN(Accessory connector pin) were available. Need your help to detect the above functionalities.
