Part Number: TSC2007
Hi,
We use TSC2007IPWR (resistive touch controller) on a remote LCD board. When the user touches the panel, the display flickers, and at the same timing the deserializer LOCK de-asserts momentarily (SerDes link unlock). After touch release, LOCK returns and the display becomes stable.
System overview:
-
Main board sends video data to remote LCD board via serializer → ~1850mm FFC → deserializer.
-
Remote board: deserializer output drives LCD, and TSC2007 reads the touch panel (X+/X-/Y+/Y-) via local routing; touch data is read via I²C.
-
The SerDes circuit/cable/termination is unchanged from our previous proven design; the issue appears correlated with touch operation / sampling.
Could you advise what to check to reduce interference? For example:
-
Power/grounding and decoupling recommendations for TSC2007 near high-speed SerDes
-
Any suggested filtering/series resistors on touch panel lines or I²C
-
Any known issues or recommended operation settings/timing to minimize noise impact
Best regards,
Conor
